A direct descendant of the original 1972 model designed by Gerald Genta, this Royal Oak Jumbo is part of the 1300 collection, the first of the 'simple' models to receive a manufacture movement.
With a diameter of 39 mm, the first Audemars Piguet Royal Oak was considered too large for its time, earning it the nickname Jumbo. But despite the initial skepticism, the Royal Oak quickly became one of the brand's most iconic models, a reputation it still retains today.

The watch available at Boutique dos Relógios Plus is a direct descendant of the original model. It is a pre-owned Royal Oak Jumbo from 2005 and is notable for being one of the first to feature a manufacture movement, the caliber 3120. It also features the iconic Genta design, inspired by a vintage diver's helmet, and a 'Grande Tapisserie' dial with the 'AP' logo at 12 o'clock, 'Audemars Piguet' in full below and 'Automatic' in full above the 6 o'clock position.
