Sixties

The joie de vivre of the Sixties coined a whole generation. Glashütte Original commemorates this exciting decade with the Sixties models. While creating this iconic line, the designers’ task was to capture the spirit and the joie de vivre of the 1960s in these models.

The 39 mm stainless steel case of this mechanical watch is extra-flat and polished to perfection. The sapphire crystal case back offers perfect views of the automatic movement and adds to the wearing comfort. The domed German silver dial is galvanised blue and given a subtle sunburst finish. Stylised Arabic numerals appear at hours 3, 6, 9 and 12 within a finely drawn white minute ring. Lightly curved hour and minute hands in white gold with Super-LumiNova® highlighting and an elegant seconds hand assure that the time remains perfectly legible at all hours. The pure design is enhanced by precisely milled hour indexes.
