The Santos de Cartier watch was born in 1904 at the request of the famous aviator Alberto Santos Dumont and quickly became one of the brand’s signature models.
In 1904, Louis Cartier responded to the desire of his friend Alberto Santos Dumont to be able to see the time while flying, which with a pocket watch was very difficult. Thus, Santos de Cartier was born, an avant-garde watch worn on the wrist, the result of a friendship between two pioneers.
Over more than a century, the model underwent numerous declines and gave rise to a collection. Here we highlight a model in yellow gold and white dial, accompanied by two bracelets: one in gold and the other in brown leather, both equipped with the “QuickSwitch” system.
