The Piaget Polo collection receives a new ultra-thin model that stands out for including the perpetual calendar complication.
For the first time since it was redesigned in 2016, the Polo collection receives the complication of a perpetual calendar with the launch of the new Piaget Polo Perpetual Calendar Ultra-Thin, a watch with a steel case measuring 42 mm in diameter and just 8.65 mm thick.
With a brushed and polished finish, the case of the new Polo features a transparent sapphire crystal caseback, through which it is possible to admire the Caliber 1255P automatic movement with micro-rotor. Beating at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations/hour and with a 42-hour power reserve, the new 1255P is based on the ultra-thin caliber 1200P, but with an additional perpetual calendar mechanism, which does not require any type of correction until 2100.
Another debut on the Piaget Polo Perpetual Calendar Ultra-Thin is the new SingleTouch interchangeable bracelet system, which allows you to easily swap between the steel bracelet and the included rubber strap. Another highlight is the dial of the new Polo, which is presented in dark emerald green with a horizontal carved pattern and conical baton-style hour markers filled with Super-LumiNova. A pair of centrally mounted hands display the hours and minutes, while a trio of subdials dedicated to the various calendar functions surround them, along with a moon phase display located at 6 o'clock.
