Piaget revisits the bold design codes of the late 1960s with the new Sixtie collection, trapezoidal jewelry watches that celebrate the Maison’s creative heritage and its vision of free and elegant femininity.

Deeply rooted in the aesthetic codes of the late 1960s, the new Sixtie collection brings back the irreverence of the era in which Piaget introduced the groundbreaking 21st Century Collection. Under the creative direction of Jean-Claude Gueit, the Maison turned the watch into a design object, redefining the boundaries between fine watchmaking and jewelry. The trapezoidal form, disruptive at the time, became a Piaget visual signature and now takes center stage once again in this collection.

Available in stainless steel, pink gold, or a two-tone composition (steel and pink gold), the Sixtie stands out for its gadrooned bezel - a detail reminiscent of the Piaget watch once worn by Andy Warhol - and its five-row bracelet with trapezoidal links, meticulously crafted to extend the dial’s geometry seamlessly. Versions set with 51 brilliant-cut diamonds on the bezel are also available. The design combines architectural lines with fluidity and comfort, transforming the timepiece into a sculptural jewel.

The dial is offered in satin-finished silver with applied Roman numerals and indexes. In 2025, Piaget reinforces its historic affinity with ornamental stones by offering the Sixtie also with a turquoise dial, recalling the Maison’s pioneering creations of the 1960s and 70s, when hard-stone dials were paired with ultra-thin movements.

Whether in bracelet form or integrated into Swinging Sautoirs, the Sixtie reaffirms Piaget’s ability to transform time into both a style accessory and an artistic manifesto.
