The Aquanaut, launched in 1997, was Patek Philippe’s first major novelty after the success of the Nautilus. This first-generation model is defined by its rounded octagonal stainless-steel case, measuring 35.6 mm, paired with a black embossed dial featuring applied gold indexes and luminescent hands.

Its sporty-elegant design is enhanced by the signature black caoutchouc strap, created in the same textured pattern as the dial, which has since become an Aquanaut hallmark. Powered by the automatic calibre 330 S C, this 1998 piece represents a rare chance to own one of the inaugural Aquanaut references, now regarded as one of the most coveted creations in contemporary watchmaking.
