Refuge in the city center

Martinhal Oriente brings together two different concepts in the same building. With tourist apartments and luxury residences, both can enjoy the hotel's services.

In one of the most modern and busiest places in Lisbon we can find Martinhal Oriente. Opened on June 2, 2023, this is the Martinhal group's most ambitious and luxurious project, which combines two concepts in one building. With 19 floors, the first four are intended for hotel operations, with 83 studios and apartments for short or long stays. From the fifth to the 14th floor there are 70 luxury residences and a penthouse, for permanent housing.

Both concepts benefit from all the hotel's services, such as the fitness center, two swimming pools (indoor and outdoor), café, bar, restaurant, social space with games room, isolated rooms for private meetings, space for children (Martinhal Kids Club) and rooftop with panoramic views over the Tagus River and the Vasco da Gama Tower.

Designed by architect Eduardo Capinha Lopes, this building built in 2019 stands out for its modern design, green facade with various plants and vertical gardens, which brings a tranquility that is difficult to find in the center of Lisbon. The decoration of this facility is full of works by Portuguese artists, works created especially for the hotel and others already existing, such as Bordalo II.

Within the resort we can find the Terrace restaurant, a space open to everyone, residents or not. Chef Daniel Andrade has more than 16 years of experience leading the kitchens of several hotels and restaurants, especially in London, which allowed him to bring a new concept to this restaurant. With the idea of looking like an oasis in the city center, the restaurant's green roof brings the outside in. Mediterranean and oriental-inspired dishes, with Portuguese and seasonal products, are the finishing touch to make the most of this pleasant space.
