Hublot celebrates the 20th anniversary of its most iconic collection with five limited editions that combine the aesthetics of the first Big Bang with the watchmaking engineering of the Big Bang Unico.
Over the past two decades, the Big Bang has become a symbol of audacity and innovation. The philosophy of the “Art of Fusion” has reshaped the watchmaking landscape, blending unexpected materials and creating a contemporary aesthetic that has become Hublot’s signature. To mark its 20th anniversary, the manufacture unveils a quintet of limited editions that honour the origins of the collection while projecting its vision into the future.
The five versions reinterpret historic codes — multilayer case construction, curved lugs, and knurled bezel — now combined with the in-house Unico flyback chronograph calibre featuring a commemorative gold rotor. The dial, engraved with a satin-finished carbon-effect pattern and applied Arabic numerals, offers both legibility and visual impact. The structured rubber strap, inspired by the first Big Bangs, is today fitted with the One Click system, allowing quick and easy changes.
Among the new models are the Titanium Ceramic (500 pieces) and King Gold Ceramic (250 pieces), which revive the original fusion concept introduced in 2005. The Red Magic edition (100 pieces) pays tribute to the world premiere of bright red ceramic, achieved by Hublot in 2018. The All Black edition (500 pieces) revisits the radical concept of “invisible visibility” first seen in 2006, now with a 43 mm matte and polished black ceramic case. Finally, the Full Magic Gold edition (100 pieces) incorporates the exclusive scratch-resistant 18K gold alloy developed by Hublot.
