Blancpain introduces a new dimension to the legendary Fifty Fathoms: a 38 mm case combining versatility, elegance, and the pioneering spirit of the first modern diver’s watch.
Created in 1953, the Fifty Fathoms set the codes for professional diver’s watches and remains an undisputed icon. The debut of the 38 mm format expands the Automatique collection, now available in three sizes – 38, 42 and 45 mm – and comes from a complete redesign of proportions, ensuring visual balance and comfort on any wrist.
The new versions include cases in stainless steel, grade 23 titanium or 18K red gold with black or blue sunburst dials, joined by two more expressive variants in pink or smoky black mother-of-pearl dégradé. All preserve the collection’s historic codes: unidirectional domed sapphire bezel, oversized luminescent markers, and water-resistance to 300 meters.
Inside beat Manufacture calibers 1150 and 1153, both with a 100-hour power reserve, 3 Hz frequency, silicon balance spring and finishes visible through the sapphire case back. A contemporary expression of an icon that keeps reinventing itself.
