Omega Seamaster Diver 300M 007 Edition
The Omega Seamaster Diver 300M Edition 007 will be James Bond’s watchmaking tool in Agent 007’s 25th film: No Time to Die. With a new titanium case, military elements on the dial and caseback, reference to the British army and vintage inspiration, the Omega Seamaster Diver 300M Edition 007 promises to impress at the service of Her Majesty. And, not being a limited edition, it also promises to please the thousands of James Bond and Omega fans.
Designed for the most famous secret agent in the world
Since 1995, with Goldeneye, James Bond has counted on Omega to supply him with his official watch which, more than an accessory, has become a real part of the British secret agent’s equipment. The arrival of Omega timepieces to the wrist of 007 happened with Pierce Brosnan in the role of Bond, through a Seamaster 300M.
Now, for the 25th film in the saga, Omega returns to its origins and equips James Bond (Daniel Craig) with a Seamaster 300M model. This is the new Seamaster Diver 300M Edition 007, inspired by the recently updated Seamaster Diver 300M, but with notable differences in the case, material used, dial, layout, bracelet / strap or sapphire glass.
Solid, precise and resistant to magnetism
Thus, the new Bond watch is presented in a 42 mm case that maintains the classic shape of the Seamaster Diver 300M, with the scalloped bezel, the braided lyre wings and the classic 60-minute ring. However, in the new model dedicated to 007 the case appears in titanium, which makes it lighter, more robust, more resistant, of a darker color, giving the watch a more “instrument” or “tool” aspect.
The bezel also has some differences. While maintaining the 12-sided profile and unidirectional functionality, it now appears in titanium, while the polished ceramic surface and white enamel scale have been replaced by a brown / black aluminum insert, with a 60-minute scale in cream.
Inside the case is the caliber 8806, the without date version of the 8800 movement. This Master Chronometer caliber, with coaxial escapement and METAS certification, is among the best industrialized automatic movements currently available. Solid, precise and resistant to magnetism, the heart of the Seamaster Diver 300M Edition 007 beats at 25,200 vib / h and offers 55 hours of power reserve.
Attaching the new Seamaster Diver 300M Edition 007 to the wrist is a titanium Milanese bracelet with straight end links, in keeping with the military inspiration of the watch. A striped NATO strap is also available, with a combination of black, cream and gray lines.
