Created in 1953, Blancpain Fifty Fathoms was born from a passion. A self-confessed lover of diving, Jean-Jacques Fiechter, CEO of Blancpain between 1950 and 1980, did not hesitate when the French Navy contacted him with the aim of building a safe, robust and reliable diving watch.
